House cleaning for single guys part one.

House cleaning for single guys is a simple concept. First off you must remember that if you are single and wanting a mate a clean house is most important. A clean bathroom, kitchen, living room and bedroom will not only tell your date that you care about your house but that you care about yourself. Most guys concentrate on themselves to attract a pretty girl. They buy great cloths and fancy cars but leave rings in there toilets and stains on there kitchen counters.

Think about it.

You take a beautiful girl home from a date to your bachelor pad and the first thing she has to do is use your bathroom. She gets into your bathroom; fights her way threw the pile of dirty cloths on the floor (first mistake) and attempts to put the lid down on your toilet. (Second mistake) then she reaches for the toilet paper and has to get off the toilet to get it from across the room (third mistake). After she completes her task at hand she plows her way to your sink, searches for a moment on the cluttered counter and finds a tiny sliver of greasy soap. (Worst mistake). While she is washing her finely manicured nails and petite hands with your sliver of mechanics soap she notices all the grooming items it takes you to get ready for a date (man is she scared).
Is it no wonder it takes her 4 beers to even kiss you.

So bathroom Tips for single guys.
1) Clean your toilet with a toilet bowl brush and toilet bowl cleaner the day of your date.
2) Wipe down the toilet bowl and seat with an antibacterial cleaner.
3) Wipe down the toilet paper holder and fill with fresh toilet paper
4) Add a candle to the back of your toilet.
5) Wipe off sink and counter with antibacterial cleaner.
6) Put all personal items in a draw or cabinet.
7) Wipe out soap dish (or buy one) and replace with new stick of soap.
8) Clean your mirror over the sink (mirrors are a girls best friend).
9) Put all dirty clothes, car parts, magazines and other items away.
10) Put some fresh towels and face cloths on the towel rack (metal or wooden bar located beside sink)
11) Change your waste basket out with a fresh liner.
12) Mop floor (make sure to get the ring under the toilet bowl)
Finally and most importantly take your bathroom reading material and replace it with a generic bathroom book.

Disposable products!

Why is the world gone to disposable products? Is life that busy we need to throw everything we do out with the weekly garbage? We got deposable mop heads, toilet wands, dusting pads, window wipes, car wipes, paper cups, plates, utelsils, and now we have disposable all in one (Mr. clean) cleaning system. With all this waste do we really have a legitimate complaint for the gas prices going up! Do we really have a legitimate complaint against the increasing pollution problem! Its my opinion that with all this disposable garbage TV and magazines are pushing us to buy It wont be to many generations from now we don’t know how to wash our own dishes, clean our own toilets and eat off anything that isn’t plastic.

Licensed bonded and insured why should I care?

When a cleaning company or local contractor states that he is licenced, bonded and insured he is stating a fact that most people want to know. These things are important in protecting your house and property against theft, fire, water damage and a whole list of things that could happen to your life’s work while someone is working at or on your home.

Licensed - given official approval to act by a local, county, state or federal authority.
Bonded - secured by written agreement by a local, county, state or national bonding company for a specific amount.
Insured - A person whose life, physical well-being, or property is the subject of insurance usually required by local or state law to operate a business.

Ionic filters do they work?

Ionic filters are all the rage, but do they work as well as those advertises claim? If used properly most ionic air filtration systems will filter out harmful chemicals and bacteria in the air, but do little to affect the dust problem! I’ve cleaned hundreds of houses and i've seen no difference between the ones that had a ionic filter vs. the ones that had no filtration system. I am interested in hearing comments from those who own these types of devices and there experience with them.

MOLD AND MILDEW

Does your shower suffer from mold and mildew?
Does your tile and grout have black or pink mildew embedded in it?
Don’t be alarmed! Mildew is just like acne it’s a diseases that affects the surface and beneath the surface of showers and grout. There is a solution! Bleach or tile-x. Let the mildew spot soak in bleach for at least 24 hours. The bleach will kill the mildew but scrubbing alone wont kill it. The mildew has roots and is deep inside. The bleach needs time to penetrate the roots of the mold to kill it. Try bleach with flour our cornstarch mixed together, apply to the grout and cover with a damp paper towel, let stand for 24 hours. After that repeat until mildew is gone. Don’t forget to clean your shower once a week to prevent the mildew from building up. If time is a factor contact a local house cleaner and they will provide a cleaning schedule that will fit your needs.

Toilet cleaning

Cleaning your toilet seems to be common sense?
Let me be the first to tell you, it is not to most people! With today’s new products, disposable toilet wands and battery operated toilet brushes people think there toilet is clean after they use these products. Gone is the day of getting on your hands and knees and washing the whole toilet top to bottom with a rag and disinfectant. If you are not cleaning the sides and bottom of your toilet with a disinfectant then you are not cleaning your toilet. Its cool to have a battery operated toilet brush, but reality hits when you try to clean the bottom of the toilet with a brush that spins a 200 rpm.
